The Nintendo Wii Is Cheaper Than Its Nearest Rivals

Nintendo has finally revealed the Wii console price and it was presented at global level, as part of the most expected IT events of the year-Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), which took place in Los Angeles. It seems that a cheap Nintendo Wii could be purchased at a lower price than the estimated one for Playstation 3, and it is cheaper than the Xbox 360 from Microsoft.

According to the announcement made by the company officials,"Wii will not be more expensive than 250$ in America and 25,000 yen in Japan. It is expected that the present price to be of 249$, and this sum must include as well the console as well as the controller which was the E3 sensation.

The officials have added the fact that Nintendo intended to commercialize the same quantum of consoles (almost six million units) which Sony estimates that will sell, starting with the launching of PS3, at the beginning of the fourth financial semester.
